Animals have feelings too..

... and this is amply portrayed by Minky.
When RMan has his morning cup of coffee
outside, Minky can't wait to greet him
Everytime RMan walks anywhere near Minky, Minky shows his pleasure by lifting his tail up high, walking / running over to RMan, and giving his head / neck / face a gentle sniff.

When we first took ownership of Miranda and Kris I asked the breeder if they showed pleasure / displeasure with any parts of their body (similar to a rhiino which lifts it's tail straight up to indicate that it is displeased, etc) - such as their with their ears, mouths, or tails.  She said no.

Minky the alapaca has proved her wrong :)

And this further proves the heading of this post.

    1. Chickpea - I am amazed at how often, and in how many ways, they express their good / bad / indifferent moods LOL

  2. Animals are so amazing aren't they? We all wish they could speak but so many times we don't realize that they are speaking, we just have to watch...

  3. I love that. Both Minky and the lion! Animals are amazing indeed. We used to have a rooster who would walk the grounds with us, like a dog. And my Polly Pig always comes running to be petted and scratched when she sees me. Her hind end sinks to the ground and she makes dreamy grunts when she gets her scratches. Very fun.

    1. Leigh - I reckon animals teach man humility. They certainly bring out the best in most of us :)
